​On December 22, 2016, Matthew Halstead was arraigned in County Court by Honorable Richard M. Koweek upon his indictment for two (2) counts of Criminal Sexual Act in the 1st Degree and three (3) counts of Criminal Sexual Act in the 3rd Degree.  The Court has scheduled a trial for August 7, 2017.  Hudson Police Department and Columbia County Sheriff David P. Bartlett's Office investigated this matter and arrested Matthew Halstead.  Kevin O'Brien represents Matthew Halstead.  Matthew Halstead is presumed to be innocent unless and until the People prove his guilt beyond a reasonable doubt to all twelve (12) of twelve (12) jurors.  (Indictment No. 16-039)


On December 22, 2016, Creshawn Mackey was convicted by plea of Attempted Burglary in the 2nd Degree, Honorable Richard M.
