Establishing A Commercial Account
For Utilizing The Greenport Transfer Station

The Solid Waste Department offers a monthly billing program, available to commercial businesses. The program allows for the disposal of only the businesses waste, on an as needed basis, without having to use a business check each time waste is brought in. All waste disposed of within a given month is compiled on one monthly invoice and due upon receipt of the invoice. There is no charge to the business to set up a “Registered Account.”

The following information is required at the time of registration:

• A copy of the businesses New York State Tax Certificate (no DBA’s are accepted)
• Copies of the vehicle(s) registration and insurance ID card.
