Columbia County Real Property Tax Service Staff

We would like to welcome you to the new Columbia County Real Property Tax Service web site.We have compiled a collection of information that we hope will assist the public to quickly find data that pertains to Real Property. The agency has many functions and duties which include the following:

• Act as a liaison between the New York State Office of Real Property Services (ORPS) and the Columbia County Assessors

• Cooperate and assist in training programs for the Columbia County Assessors and the Board of Assessment Review.

• Maintain Tax Maps

• Produce Town and County Tax Rolls and Bills (January 1); Tentative Assessment Rolls (May 1); Final Assessment Rolls (July 1) and School Tax Rolls and Bills (July 15 & September 1)

• Coordinate countywide revaluation programs.

• Provide assistance to the public.
