Columbia County Clerk Holly Tanner stands with fellow County Clerks from around the state as they prepare to deliver more than 100,000 signatures to Governor Paterson.
The signatures were gathered by County Clerks in response to the Governor's announcement to include mandatory new plates for NYS residents for a charge of $45.
The plan was scrapped and not included in the budget proposal.
Also with the clerks is NYS Association of Counties Executive Director Stephen Acquario.
